pls, everyone, be nice to new users. don’t just remove their first post for being “off topic”. we’re already having a problem of not getting enough new users (link)
Many people complain that there isn’t enough content on here, yet many people also expect all new users to not only share their beliefs, but know how the Threadiverse works before joining.
If the Threadiverse is to grow, people need to be patient with new users, ensuring they are well-informed with an informational DM at the very least if their post must be taken down. People also can’t expect all new users to fit squarely within the relatively niche set of interests the Threadiverse currently caters best to.
